It is about 14 miles long and 1/2 mile at its widest point. On any given day, it has a few boats on the water at a time. On a busy weekend like the 4th of July, there may be up to 20 boats on the lake.</p> <p>However, the lake could get choppy when the wind picks up. There had been white caps throughout the lake except for the northern cove by the dam.
